CLARITY.

CAPACITY.

MOMENTUM.

Mika Khan Consulting exists to help people and organizations break the cycles that keep them from thriving. Whether it’s burnout, limited resources, or the feeling of being stuck, change begins when people start to believe in what’s possible and have the right tools and support to make it happen.

Mika's work is rooted in real experience—at every level of the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.

Over the last decade, she has worked as a mental health professional supporting young adults experiencing homelessness, built programs for former dropouts and systems-involved youth, and served as COO of CASA of Los Angeles — overseeing operations across one of the region's most complex child welfare nonprofits. She's been in the trenches and in the leadership seat, and she's seen firsthand the toll that overwork, poor systems, and lack of capacity take on passionate teams.

She understands, from the inside, what it costs an organization to run on passion alone — and what it looks like when the right infrastructure finally catches up.

Today, Mika also serves as Executive Director of the Chandramohan Family Foundation, a private family foundation supporting organizations in the United States, India, and Sri Lanka — managing everything from grantmaking strategy and due diligence to grantee stewardship. She also serves as Board Chair of the California Regional Advisory Board of Dogs for Better Lives. This dual vantage point — foundation executive and nonprofit board leader — shapes everything about how she partners with clients.

Her approach is grounded in empathy, sustainability and rigor.

Mika partners with nonprofit organizations and family foundations to create systems that truly support their people and their mission — so they can rediscover motivation, stay connected to their purpose, and build lasting impact.
